I am Bruce Davis and I am writing this report on behalf of Gus Tavus. Gus is a 52-year-old male and he wants to file complaint of discrimination in the workplace on the basis of age. When BPIC was reorganizing, Gus was denied a promotion based on his age, intentionally. Gus was one of the four Regional Center Managers of BPIC. He reported to the Vice President of Regional Claims. This VPRC reported to Senior Vice President of Corporate Claims. When BPIC’s reorganization was taking place, every regional office was eliminated and as result Gus lost his job. BPIC was also adding new five new Corporate Claims specialist position (CCS). The main requirement here was higher level of knowledge and skills. The SVPCC asked Gus and other RCMs to apply for this new position. This was a promotion position and naturally not all were chosen.
